On 25 September 2019, the European Parliament published a new directive on the protection of persons who report breaches of union law and threats to public interest. The Whistleblower Directive (EU) 2019/1937 (the “Directive”) aims to provide protection to those who report work-related misconduct. Struers is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Directive.
Below please find important aspects of the Directive that applies to Struers employees and partners:
Under the Directive, employees, job applicants and suppliers may:
- Report an incident on-site to Marek Hluchnik (for Struers s.r.o. only)
- Report anonymously online at https://indicor.ethicspoint.com
- Report an incident by calling the toll-free number (800 400 290)
Struers will:
- Conduct business with high ethical standards and commitment to integrity
- Investigate and take appropriate disciplinary action against any employee whose actions are found to violate company policies or procedures
- NOT retaliate against, nor tolerate any harassment or retaliation against, anyone for reporting in good faith suspected violations of law, regulations or Struers policies or procedures.
- NOT terminate, demote, transfer to a less desirable assignment or otherwise discriminate against a reporter for calling attention to acts that are suspected to be illegal, unethical or in violation of any union law.
